■Introduction Hiroshima City Youth Center was established for urban youth recreation hall without lodging facility at the center of the city, opened on January 15, 1966. Since then, making use of its convenient location it many youth have been using it for a small meeting, a large-scale lecture and so on. If you are the group of youth, the rooms are free of charge through a prescribed procedure. ■Hours 9:00-21:00 ■Days closed Tuesdays, days following national holidays and December 29 - January 3 ■Facilities <Rooms> Free for youth groups; including 4 or more young people who are from school age to 30 years old and over half of members are youth. Free for the educational purpose of youth. You can use CD player, DVD player, Projector and some equipment for free in the room (previous confirmation is needed). 3rd floor

<Hall> It costs HALL charge, INCIDENTAL FASCILITY charge and OPERATION COSTS to use the Hall for all groups and activities. capacity 629 Fee for HALL on Weekday

Fee for INCIDENTAL FACILITY It costs per time period (morning, afternoon and night).
OPERATION COSTS We entrust the operation and maintenance of the Hall to the stage management company, Shinomoto-shomei. Operation costs depends on your purpose and usage. ■To use the facilities <Rooms> If you are a group of youth or planning activities for youth, you can make reservations 3 months in advance of use; otherwise 1 month in advance of use. First, please contact us by telephone or visit our office. We do not accept reservations by e-mail nor FAX and can not respond in other languages than Japanese. According to your purpose and activity, we will give you detariled information about next procedures. <Hall> If you are a group of youth or planning activities for youth, you can make reservations 1 year in advance of use; otherwise 10 months in advance of use. First, please contact us by telephone or visit our office. We do not accept reservations by e-mail nor FAX and can not respond in other languages than Japanese. According to your purpose and activity, we will give you detailed information about next procedures. ■Others <Free LAN system> You can use a free and wireless LAN system managed by the FREESPOT network for your activity during open hours. See for the details at FREESPOT English site: http://www.freespot.com/users/map_e.html CAUTION: You can not use power supply and need the e-mail address(not of the internet mail) to login. We can not help you for using the system. <Prohibitions> According to ordinance and related laws, it is not allowed for any person in the facility; To commit acts prejudicial to the public interest. To support or oppose a particular political party. To support or oppose a particular religion. To make profits. ■Access As we basically have no parking, please take public transportation. <By bus> From the JR Hiroshima Station, take a bus bound for Hiroshima Bus Center and get off at Hiroshima Bus Center (in SOGO department store). <By streetcar> From the JR Hiroshima Station, take a streetcar bound for Miyajima-guchi, Nishihiroshima or Eba and get off at Genbakudomu-mae (the A-bomb Dome) Streetcar Stop. <By Astram line> (Hiroshima rapid transit system from northwest area of Hiroshima City) Get off at Kencho-mae Station. ■Contact For more information, please contact us in Japanese.
